The Table
Divider

A table full of good used clothes
What it's done for me, you'll never know
Decisions made for just myself
Resulting in clothes upon my shelf

No money did I have to spend
It's seems it's now my time to win
They said it's just for you to choose
You can pick from clothes, purses, and even shoes

Just material sewn with pieces of thread
With buttons and zippers, some blue and some red
Has helped to give me a new attitude
But to forget the counselors would be too rude

A new life is beginning in my new clothes
And I'm so excited as I watch it all flow
A new person evolving, I see a small glint
Owed to this house with the table full of presents

So thanks to the counselors who egg me on
And the new clothes that I now have to put on
I take to the street with a brand-new look
Or maybe I'll just open the telephone book

My time has not yet come to leave this place
But when I do the future I'll be able to face
For when I leave the safety and sanctity of these walls
I'll be leaving with far more than I came with, after all

You are listening to Fur Elise written by Ludwig Van Beethoven.
This has always been my most favorites of piano pieces...
...and it has always made me wish I played the piano.
But I played the accordion which is almost like the piano and
you are about to read my poems which are almost like poetry.

All poetry presented here was written by me as original works of art.
Please do not recreate any of them without expressed permission from me.
