One Blind Date

Neil Diamond was coming to town
To give a concert in the round
You wanted someone to take along
Someone who'd enjoy hearing his songs

Susan asked if I'd be that one
I thought sure, it'll be a lot of fun
Who would have thought one blind date
Would lead us finding our life long mate

Never believing dreams ever came true
Certain I'd always be singing the blues
Then out of nowhere you came into my life
And to my surprise wanted me as your wife

There will never be a more luckier girl
Cause you're the best husband in the world
I wouldn't have thought just a year ago
Someone as good as you I'd come to know

Your love for me is so gentle and sweet
And the way you treat me just can't be beat
You're everything I ever wanted and more
With you beside me what else could I wish for

There's no way my life could be any better
No greater joy than when we're together
Each day just brings me more happiness
Being married to you is just pure bliss

Dedicated to:
Mike... my husband

You are listening to Fur Elise written by Ludwig Van Beethoven.
This has always been my most favorites of piano pieces...
...and it has always made me wish I played the piano.
But I played the accordion which is almost like the piano and
you are about to read my poems which are almost like poetry.

All poetry presented here was written by me as original works of art.
Please do not recreate any of them without expressed permission from me.
