My husband bought me the Web TV
So the world from my couch I could see
Filled with facts, figures and places to go
And this wonderful lady I'm getting to know
Through the Internet I went learning my way
I found her home page the very first day
The story I read affected me so much
I had to tell her that I had been touched
My first ever e-mail was typed up and sent
And it didn't even cost me one red cent
I went about doing my thing
When out of the blue, ding-a-ling
Bells and whistles and little red lights
Then came her response out in plain sight
I couldn't believe I was hearing from her
And that's a fact of which hubby will concur
I started out just being her fan
Then out of the blue our friendship began
We've had lots of laughs and smiles
Though being separated by many miles
The first thing I noticed about this girl
Was her ease handling the outside world
She has a way that's gentle and sweet
And a sense of humor that can't be beat
Time has passed emailing back and forth
Facts and stories and words of great worth
At times our language is one of a kind
The right words being so hard to find
All she need ever do is pick up the phone
And I'll be on a plane headed to her home
So grateful each day our friendship grows
Cause she's the most beautiful lady I know
You are listening to Fur Elise written by Ludwig Van Beethoven.
This has always been my most favorites of piano pieces...
...and it has always made me wish I played the piano.
But I played the accordion which is almost like the piano and
you are about to read my poems which are almost like poetry.
All poetry presented here was written by me as original works of art.
Please do not recreate any of them without expressed permission from me.
