My eyes caught hold of the paper
Linn was flashed across the top
My uncle has made the headlines
Anger started what ended with the cops
My uncle is a regular guy
But this act was not one of chance
The night he shot his girlfriend
To take away the dance
How could he be so cruel
His words and actions were mean
How could he pull that trigger
Could it have been foreseen
One dance, one gun, one bullet
All swirled into one act
The pulling of that trigger
And it's terrible impact
He's up for attempted murder
But he didn't want her dead
He wanted to put her in a chair
So she could never dance instead
That is just so crazy
So terribly insane
What could make him to it
Cause such suffering and pain
As he put the gun to her back
He set his plan in gear
You won't ever dance again
He whispered in her ear
Hurt and bleeding he left her
Coldly he just turned around
And drove off to his house
And burnt it to the ground
He now stands trial before his peers
The verdict we'll have to wait to see
What they all think of this
And what his sentence will be
The impact of this insane act
Life changing it has been
As a silent tear rolls down her cheek
Tell him, I'll never dance again

Special Note:
She is now up and dancing once again
and my uncle is doing life.

Me

You are listening to Fur Elise written by Ludwig Van Beethoven.
This has always been my most favorites of piano pieces...
...and it has always made me wish I played the piano.
But I played the accordion which is almost like the piano and
you are about to read my poems which are almost like poetry.
All poetry presented here was written by me as original works of art.
Please do not recreate any of them without expressed permission from me.
