Setting up a jetler.com Mailbox
To set up your jetler.com Mailbox you need 2 pieces of information...
your chosen username and your password.
Once you have received your activation letter, you can set up OE.
Open OE.
Click Tools>Accounts and then the Mail tab.
Now click Add>Mail
Type your name as you want it to be displayed in the From field.
Click Next
Enter your email address.
Click Next
Put mail.jetler.com in the incoming field and in the Outgoing field.
Click Next
Under Account name, put your username.
Enter the password. It is case sensitive.
Click Next
Click Finish and you're almost done!
In OE, click Tools>Account and highlight your jetler
account.
Click Properties
Click the Servers tab and put a check in My server requires authentication.
Click
on Create Mail.
You will notice that there is now a dropdown bar in your from field.
You use this to select which addy you want to use.
Note!
Some ISPs require their SMTP to be used.
If you find you cannot send after you get all set up...
Click Tools>Accounts. Highlight your ISP account then click Properties.
Now on the Servers tab, make note of what is in Outgoing mail (SMTP).
Close out of that window without making any changes.
Now highlight your jetler account. Click Properties and then your servers
Tab.
Change Outgoing mail (SMTP) to how your ISP had it.
