this day away
Oh Lord we want to pray
Just say it can't be true
In the land of the red, white, and blue
Terrorist
soared through the sky
Causing far too many souls to die
Images now burned into our brain
From this day when terror reigned
Families
now are torn apart
Breaking oh so many hearts
Taking a husband's wife
Sacrificing a small ones life
A
country bereaves in pain
From this act so insane
Hold us within your protective hand
Bring peace again to our land

Our
Heavenly Father,
Please
be with the family of the victims and the forces that
will be coming to our aid and this nation.
Help
us to come together as our nation is attacked from
all sides. Keep us within your protective arms and
be with our government leaders and military as they
come to our aid and protection. Be with my son and
all the sons and daughters of the military and protective
services
Be
with the families of all those that have lost loved
ones in these tragedies in NY and DC and wherever
else these terrorist acts occur. Be with the children,
families, cities, states and this nation as it mourns
it's loss and help us to grow ever stronger from this
terrible loss and to keep our focus on you.
In
Jesus' Name,
