Our Maryland Vacation July 2001

We arrived in Maryland around 10am after about 14 hours of driving during which time we had decided that this was going to be a trip based on impromptu decisions and we were going to pack in as much as we could. Even though we are both from Maryland, we did not meet until we moved to Florida to be near our parents. And while in Maryland we were always less than an hour apart. I had lived in Temple Hills from 1964 when we first moved there up until 1973 and I had moved back for a year in 1992 living in Colton's Point until I moved from there in 1993. Mike was not familiar with either of those areas as he had lived in Shady Side from birth until 1955 (lol... I was about a 1 year old then and still not in Maryland) and then his family moved to Annapolis where he lived until he moved to Florida in 1932. (lol... so he left about the time I came back) Anyway, we were looking forward to sharing our common yet uncommon connection. We just didn't know where we were gonna start.... or, lol, what might come next.
