July 5th...
We, Lorraine, Connie and myself head to London to meet yet another internet friend... Scotty and her husband. They really rolled out the red carpet. :) We had a great time visiting and laughing over her cute Sonny and Cher singing Teddies. Then it was off to dinner at The Mandarin.
The Mandarin was a buffet but not your ordinary buffet. My gosh they had a soup and bread bar, salad bar, seafood food, suishi bar, prime rib bar, dessert bar and ice cream bar... and I am sure I am forgetting some. :) There were fresh cut flowers in the ladies room and a automatic feed towel dispenser. At the end of our meal, our waiter brought us warm lemon-scented towels and a young lady handed us a mint as we left. We had a marvelous time!
