July 30th...
This was our last weekend on the water. Friday, we stayed tied up to the dock and partied with fellow boaters. Enjoying pizza, drinks, fun and laughs. Saturday, the 30th, after cooking breakfast for us and their boater's friends, we took off. Having no real plan in mind, we ended up drifting on the Potomac. We decided to go ahead and do some fishing and boy did we catch some fish. Mike caught 32 fishing off the port side... Joan caught 18 off the stern... and I caught only 12 off the starboard side. We had a blast mostly catching small bass though Mike did catch one catfish.
Once we had our share of fishing, we headed off to Chapel Point. We cooked steak and baked potatoes off the boat. It was delicious then Joan and I did some floating in the water. Later after we watched the sun go down, we were treated to some fireworks by a fellow boater.
Note the difference in my skin color from the first day of vacation. :)
