July 31st...
Our last real vacation day. We left for home the next day. It was a great day but started out rather iffy. lol... We had wanted to go to Captain Billy's for their breakfast buffet. We got there and was shocked that there weren't more boats. We tied up, walked up to the door to find them closed. Change of plans and change of menu. Off to Fairview for lunch.
We got there, tied up and waited for the water taxi... and waited... seems the battery was dead. Eventually they came and got us and we had a great lunch. We went to the little store for ice and headed for the dock to find that the water taxi was out of commission so we waded back out to the boat. It wasn't bad but for once we weren't in our suits. lol... We spent the rest of the day floating about, drinking and making memories!
